We had a unique Easter here in Whitefish, Montana yesterday. It was a glorious day — God showing off again as God is wont to do (particularly on this particular Holy Day) — not a cloud in the sky, which was NY Mets blue all day.
Our traveling companions (The Lone Rabbi and his bride) took a ride up to the Big Mountain ski area and rode the lift all the way to the top of the mountain (and back down, as we were sadly ski-less). To say the views from the top were glorious doesn't begin to tell the story. The Canadian Rockies on one side, the peaks at Glacier National Park on another, and the whole of Flathead Lake laid out like a crystal blanket at our feet — wordless.
Then, as one does on Easter in Whitefish, we went for Cuban pork sandwiches where we had the delightful pleasure of running into Cowboy Gerald, a local denizen and lovely human bean.

We here at the Montana HQ hope you all had a beautiful Easter. He is risen, indeed!
