A short reflection on "body prayer," stillness, and counting hope one drip at a time.
I want to hear more about body prayer next time we talk. I've got a couple specific ones in my repertoire, but my contemplative group at church is asking for more. I took a poll and body prayer was the #1 thing they're interested in. Who knew?!
Beautiful! I love this body prayer moving you towards healing and shalom wholeness, my dear Cathleen!
...and all manner of things shall be well.
To sit; just sit.
I can relate, in that I have a 'progressive, degenerating, neurological disorder with no known cause'. And like the wicked witch, I am melting.
I would watch a lot of movies. Back when I had a full-time job, my private vacation would be about 3 weeks away. I took off work from Christmas week to Martin Luther King day, and continually watch movies while I drew.
Despite your physical difficulties, you've traveled the world. I have never wanted to make that effort. Too many consequences.
You are always on that list I wrote you about, recently.
May you be lifted up, as you have lifted up so many.
Lots of love & hugs to you dear friend!
Damn are you brave!
Know , my friend, that many people are reaching out to you in prayer and love. We will be strong for you when you can’t be, here for you always.
Wow. Bless you.
I am holding you in the Light. May all the medicine be a blessing to your body. May you return to full health and wholeness. In the name of the Great Physician and Author of all healing.
